Description
TSDD switches are built as two-position controllers (on/off control), which compare the set and instantaneous temperature and allow the switching of galvanically isolated relay contacts when the set temperature value is reached. The sensors consist of a plastic connection head with the transparent cover. The connection head contains electronic equipment with LED display. With regard to the location of the sensor element and the switch application, the following versions are available:
TSDD A - temperature switch for measuring temperature in the switch environment. The sensor element is placed in the metal stem.
TSDD P - contact version switch for mounting on pipeline surfaces for surface temperature measurements. The sensor element is housed in a metal measuring case. It comes with the fastening strap of the length 40 cm and with closing mechanism.
TSDD K - the sensor element is placed in the metal stem for use in air conditioning equipment or in hoses. This version with temperature switch is available with a plastic mounting clip. Stainless steel thermowell or metal holder can be supplied as an accessory.
TSDD C - the sensor element is protected by the TG 8 case, 40 mm long, and fitted with a 1 m long cable. A different box type or cable length must be specified in the order.
Standard temperature ranges, in which the temperature setpoint can be adjusted, are listed in the specification table. For the TSDD A the maximum allowed operating temperature is 70 °C, for the TSDD P this temperature limit is 110 °C. For applications above 140 °C, the TSDD K can be used. In this case, however, the switch version must be used with the stem extended 60 mm and the metal centric retaining clip.
These switches are designed for use in a chemically non-aggressive environment.
