These temperature switches TSZ4H with display are designed for use as two state controllers (on/off type control). They compare the temperature setpoint with the actual temperature value and make it possible to switch the galvanically isolated (electrically isolated) contacts of a connected relay when the set temperature is reached. The supply voltage of the switches is 10 to 33 V DC or 9 to 24 V AC (by type).
Description
Two temperature sensor elements can be connected to the switches on the base of Pt (Pt 1000/3850) or on the base of Ni (ni 1000/6180). The display shows the current value of the measurement temperature during the measurement process. Setting individual parameters is performed by two control knobs.
The switch can be used in 5 different modes:
Mode No. 1: The switch acts as a single controller that switches the first relay at the set temperature interval and the second relay is switched when the emergency set temperature is exceeded (only one sensor element is used)
Mode #2: The switch acts as a single controller that switches each relay at the set temperature interval (only one sensor element is used)
Mode No. 3: The switch works as a dual controller, meaning each relay is controlled by the temperature of one sensor element
Mode No. 4: The switch acts as a differential controller that switches based on the temperature difference of two sensor elements (analogous to mode No. 1)
Mode No. 5: The switch acts as a differential controller that switches based on the temperature difference of two sensor elements (analogous to Mode No. 2)
The switch-off time for relay 1 within the limits of 0–300 s can be set in any mode.
The switches are intended for mounting on the DIN slat. the temperature range of the switch applications depends on the type of temperature sensor element used (for example, for the sensor in the tG8 case, the range is -50 to 200°C). The maximum operating temperature range of the switch is -50 to 250°C.
The switches are intended for use in a chemically non-aggressive environment.
