Thermal imaging cameras
A thermal camera records the various infrared rays (heat waves) emitted by the object, which vary with temperature. Contrary to what one might think, with a thermal camera one cannot see behind a wall or an obstacle. It only shows the heat embodied by an object or the thermal flux of a wall caused by a heat source behind it.
